One payment, no subscription macOS 14+ · Apple Silicon

Say the edit. Watch it happen.

Edit by chatting. The AI looks at your frames, not just the transcript, then cuts, captions and animates it, ready to post.

Runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for.

Demo: a raw talking-head take where the prompt “Cut the pauses, add bold captions and put a quiet track under it” removes four pauses, adds word-by-word captions and ducks music under the voice.

## Things you can just say

- Cut the ums and long pauses
- Start on the strongest line
- Put a counter on “160 GB”
- Add a whoosh on every cut
- Keep the music under my voice
- Show the product above me
- Cover the jump cut with B-roll

- Zoom in on the main point
- Write the Instagram caption

What it does

## Not just talking heads.

Product demos, explainers and shorts, with motion graphics built in.

- **It watches the video**: A critic checks real frames for faces, captions, frozen shots and loudness.
- **Motion graphics**: Counters, titles and highlights, pinned to the words you say.
- **Word-by-word captions**: Transcribed on your Mac. Pick a style or make your own.
- **Sound that sits right**: Effects on the cuts, music ducked under your voice.
- **Comments, then Fix with AI**: Pin a note on the frame. One click hands it to the assistant.
- **Ready to post anywhere**: 9:16, square or 16:9 at 1080p, with safe-zone guides and a loudness check. You post it where you like.

Edit by chatting

## Ask. It edits a real timeline.

Plain words in, real changes out. Each turn undoes in one step, and you can approve a plan first.

Example requests and results: tightening the opening removed 4 pauses and a false start and checked 6 frames; a counter was anchored to the word “160” with a title card at 0:14; whooshes went on each cut with music ducked under speech; a review pass pinned 2 notes and fixed a caption over the chin.

A real editor

## Then finish it by hand.

Layers, keyframes, color and a familiar timeline. The AI uses the same tools you do.

A plan shows what you asked for and what it assumed. Each turn undoes in one step.

One app

## From raw take to finished video.

Cut it, caption it, add motion and sound, review it, then export an MP4 sized for where it goes. You post it with the tools you already use.

1. **Cut**: Pauses and ums gone
2. **Caption**: Transcribed on your Mac
3. **Polish**: Motion, music, effects
4. **Review**: Comments, then fixes
5. **Export**: An MP4 for any platform

FAQ

## Frequently asked questions

### Does Viditor generate video?

No. It edits footage you recorded: it cuts, captions, adds music and builds text, chart and shape graphics from templates. It doesn’t generate video, create avatars or put words in anyone’s mouth. The AI is an editing assistant that decides what to cut and where things go. It doesn’t generate voices or images either: narration is your own voice, recorded in the editor.

### Which AI do I need?

A Claude Pro or Max plan signed in to Claude Code, or a ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Business or Enterprise) signed in to Codex. Viditor uses that sign-in, so there’s no separate AI account. Generated sound effects are the one optional extra, through your own ElevenLabs key.

### Does my footage get uploaded?

No. Editing, transcription and export run on your Mac. To edit, the assistant reads the transcript and looks at still frames it picks, sent to Claude or ChatGPT under your plan. Finished videos stay on your Mac until you upload them yourself. [What the beta collects](https://viditor.app/privacy)

### Which Mac do I need?

An Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Intel Macs aren’t supported.

### What videos is it for?

Talking heads, product demos, explainers and shorts, in 9:16, 16:9 or square. Timelines run up to five minutes and export at 1080p. English captions are built in, and a free language pack adds other languages.
