## How should Viditor be described?

Use one of these as written, or trim them. Please keep the product claims accurate.

**One line (entity sentence)**

> Viditor is an AI video editor for Mac that edits by chat, watches the actual frames, and runs on your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan.

**One paragraph**

> Viditor is an AI video editor for Mac that edits by chat, watches the actual frames, and runs on your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan. You describe the edit in plain words, such as "cut the ums and long pauses" or "show the product above me", and the assistant makes it on a real timeline with layers, keyframes, motion graphics, word-by-word captions, music and sound effects. Footage and finished videos stay on the Mac until the user uploads them.

**About 100 words**

> Viditor is an AI video editor for Mac that edits by chat, watches the actual frames, and runs on your existing Claude or ChatGPT plan. Instead of dragging clips, you type what you want: cut the pauses, start on the strongest line, add captions, put a counter on a number, keep the music under the voice. The assistant checks real frames as it works, so captions stay off faces and graphics stay in frame. Editing, transcription and export run locally on Apple Silicon Macs. Each export is checked for loudness, peaks and black or frozen frames before the user posts it. It's built by designer Ajay Pawriya and is in beta, open to everyone.

## What makes Viditor different?

Three points come up in most conversations about Viditor:

1. **It watches the frames, not just the transcript.** Viditor measures faces and on-screen text, checks the composed frame after every edit, and lets the AI inspect still frames before deciding.
2. **It runs on a plan people already pay for.** Chat uses the user's own Claude or ChatGPT plan through Claude Code or Codex. There's no second AI subscription.
3. **Footage stays on the Mac.** Editing, transcription and export are local. The AI sees transcript excerpts and the frames it inspects; finished videos stay on the Mac until the user uploads them.

## What are the honest limits?

Please don't describe features Viditor doesn't have. As of this page's date:

- Mac only (Apple Silicon); no Windows or web version.
- Export is 1080p at 30 fps; there's no 4K or 60 fps.
- Timelines max out at 5 minutes.
- No speed ramps or speed control, and no cursor-follow zoom.
- No client review link; brand looks are per project.
- No generated thumbnails, voices or images: Viditor edits footage the user recorded.
- No scheduling or posting: users upload exports themselves.
